- Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Visiting a pumpkin patch is something I need to do more of, I’ve visited one maybe once or twice, and it’s been one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had, especially when there’s a pumpkin patch festival going on and there’s all sorts of activities going on, hay rides, corn mazes, apple cider drinking, it’s quite the experience. Check online to see if there’s a pumpkin patch event going on near you this fall!
- Have a S’mores Bonfire
Time to hit the grocery store for homemade S’mores ingredients! Marshmallows, Hershey’s chocolate bars, graham crackers, I can smell and taste them already. There’s nothing better than toasting S’mores at a bonfire on a nice, chilly, and crisp autumn evening. Call up a few friends and host a bonfire this fall! It’s the best time of the year for toasting S’mores, so don’t miss out! P.s., don’t forget to throw in some scary stories by the fire, everyone loves a good spook.
- Host or Attend a Halloween Party
Halloween parties have ultimately been my favorite part about autumn since I was a little girl. Growing up, my family has held so many Halloween parties and they were so amazingly decorated, along with great games, hay rides, tons of candy, and even really creative and wonderfully put together haunted houses. Every year Halloween parties were what I looked forward to most. It could be for the kids or for you and a couple of friends, feel free to check out Pinterest for some Halloween party ideas! There are some extremely creative Halloween party ideas that even I am interested in trying out for my own party. Here are some ideas below that you may be interested in:

- Take a Hike and Inhale Crisp Autumn Air
If you are a nature person, and love being one with nature’s presence, you could step outside, stop by your local coffee shop, grab some hot chocolate, and go for a nature walk, taking in the beautiful season of fall with all 5 senses, listening to the leave crunch beneath your feet, the tip of your nose feeling slightly cold, sniffing the smell of crispy leaves and cold air. There’s is absolutely nothing more peaceful, than an autumn hike.
- Watch a Spooky Film
Last but not least, you cannot forget those classic Halloween films, like as shown above, Halloweentown! One of the best parts about fall is the constant showings of Halloween movies on TV. One of the top 10 things I look forward to about fall, every single year. Below, you will find a list of spooky films I recommend that you can check out this fall to get you in the mood for Halloween.
“Rain on roof outside window, gray light, deep covers and warm blankets. Rain and nip of autumn in air; nostalgia, itch to work better and bigger. That crisp edge of autumn.”
